Tommy Tate

Tommy Tate is the Soccer Academy Director for International Christian Academy and International Sports Academy. He played professionally for 2nd Division Portuguese Team National, also for the San Diego Sockers of the CISL (1995-96), the San Diego Flash A-League (1996-2001), MLS’s Tampa Bay Mutiny (2000), and the Los Angeles Galaxy (2001).  Coach Tate is a former player and coach from the University of San Diego. Where, as the Assistant Coach, he helped lead the men’s team to six NCAA Tournament appearances, three WCC Championships, and led the women’s team to five NCAA Tournament appearances.

Tate brings over 20 years of professional experience as a player and coach, earning multiple awards, including the Nevada Coach of the Year in 2013 and 2019. He is also a licensed National Youth “A” Coach with the United States Soccer Federation. His goal is to provide an elite training and development program at ISA that is unparalleled in Nevada. ISA Soccer will serve as a platform for all competitive, aspiring soccer players to advance.
